ViraLinq Labs

Privacy Notice

Last updated: August 4, 2026.

This notice explains how ViraLinq Labs handles personal information submitted through the Labs website, email, project inquiries, assessments, and professional service engagements. ViraLinq Labs is operated under the ViraLinq brand. The legal contracting party for a paid engagement will be identified in the applicable proposal, invoice, or service agreement.

Information we may collect

Inquiry and contact information: name, email address, company, role, application URL, project stage, technology stack, deadline, budget range, and the information you include in messages or forms.

Engagement information: proposals, statements of work, approvals, communications, deliverables, support records, billing records, and project decisions.

Technical material: repository metadata, deployment information, logs, screenshots, configuration details, test results, and other materials you lawfully authorize us to inspect for an assessment or engagement.

Website and device information: IP address, browser and device information, request logs, referrer data, and basic performance or security information collected by hosting and infrastructure providers.

Payment information: transaction and invoice information. Full payment-card details are normally handled by the applicable payment provider rather than stored directly by ViraLinq Labs.

Do not send secrets by email

Do not send passwords, API keys, private keys, database credentials, recovery codes, or other secrets through ordinary email. Project access should be granted through appropriate account invitations, roles, temporary credentials, or secret-management tools.

How information is used

We may use information to:

  • respond to inquiries and evaluate whether a project is a fit;
  • prepare assessments, proposals, scopes, estimates, invoices, and contracts;
  • perform, validate, document, and support agreed services;
  • protect accounts, systems, repositories, and the website from misuse;
  • maintain business, tax, accounting, compliance, and dispute records;
  • improve service quality, delivery methods, and website reliability; and
  • communicate about an active inquiry or engagement.

Legal bases where applicable

Depending on the location and context, processing may be based on steps requested before entering a contract, performance of a contract, legitimate interests in operating and protecting the business, compliance with legal obligations, or consent where consent is required.

Service providers and sharing

Information may be shared only as reasonably necessary with hosting, email, repository, project-management, payment, analytics, security, AI-tool, accounting, legal, or other professional service providers. Project information may also be processed through client-authorized platforms involved in the engagement.

We do not sell personal information. We do not publish client names, project details, testimonials, or case studies without authorization.

AI-assisted work

ViraLinq Labs may use AI tools and agents to assist with research, codebase orientation, classification, drafting, implementation, documentation, and validation. Access and data exposure are limited according to the engagement, provider controls, and reasonable data-minimization practices. Highly sensitive material should not be placed into an AI service unless that use has been approved and appropriately controlled.

Retention and security

Information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the inquiry, engagement, support, business records, legal obligations, security, and dispute handling. Retention depends on the type of information, whether a contract was formed, applicable accounting or legal requirements, and whether the information remains necessary to protect the parties.

Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used, but no email, repository, cloud platform, or internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.

International processing

Hosting, communication, repository, payment, and other providers may process information in countries different from your own. Where required, appropriate contractual or legal safeguards should be used by the relevant provider or contracting party.

Cookies and analytics

The Labs site does not currently use advertising cookies. Hosting and security providers may use essential technology and request logs to deliver and protect the site. If non-essential analytics or marketing technology is added, this notice and any required consent controls will be updated.

Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Some information may need to be retained for contracts, tax, security, legal claims, or other lawful reasons.

Children

ViraLinq Labs is a business service and is not directed to children. Do not submit personal information about a child unless it is lawful, necessary, and explicitly agreed for a legitimate project purpose.
